Payments & security
Plain-language answers about how we handle your money and your card.
Who processes the payment?
All payments are processed by Stripe, the same payment company used by Apple, Amazon, Shopify, and tens of thousands of other businesses. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified โ the highest tier of payment security in the industry.
When you enter your card on our checkout page, the card number is sent directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. We never see the card number, and it never touches our servers.
What card information do you store?
We store only what's needed to bill you and show you a meaningful receipt: the brand of card (e.g., "Visa"), the last four digits, and the expiration date. We do not store the full card number, the CVV, or your billing zip code on our servers โ Stripe holds those.
How is my data transmitted?
Every page on this site and the app is served over HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate. Connections to Stripe use TLS 1.2 or higher. You will never be asked to enter payment information on a non-encrypted page.
What happens if my card is declined?
If a charge fails on either Organizer Premium or Player Premium, we email you immediately with the reason and a link to update your payment method. If you don't update it in time, your account reverts to the matching free tier โ Organizer Premium reverts to Organizer Free (with the 24-player / 4-court per-session cap), and Player Premium reverts to Player Free. You never lose access to scheduling. When you add a new card, Premium features come right back.
Who do I contact about a billing question?
Email hello@pickleballcourtscheduler.com with the email address on your account and a short description. A real person responds within minutes. The address is also in the trust strip at the top of every page.
